60×60 cm, 2020

Inspired by the book “Furthermore” by Tahereh Mafi.

“The sun was raining again. Soft, bright rainlight fell from the sky, and every drop punctured a neat hole in the season. The winter had been steady and predictable, but now the holes were starting to appear. Spring was already peeping through the cracks. The world was ready for change. […] Everything bathed in an unearthly glow from the rainlight […] Rainlight brought the magic into the world; it soaked the air and penetrated the ground; it made plants and trees grow and gave shape and strength to the explosion of colors in which they lived.” (from “Furthermore” by Tahereh Mafi)
