100×160 cm, 2020
Did you ever wonder what the world would look like if you were the size of an insect? Like in the story of ‘Eric’ (by Godfried Bomans)? As a child, Elise didn’t know Godfried Bomans, so Paul Biegel’s story “The Little Captain” fed her imagination. Especially the chapter where the children reach the island of ‘Big and Growth’.
This artwork was exhibited in the Flower Art Museum during summer 2024.
