In the Forest of Whispers series, I conjure mysterious forest landscapes where text and image flow seamlessly into one another. The words are not simply written; they drift down like autumn leaves, dissolve into misty depths, or rise like whispers from the earth. The letters form veils of fog—fragments of stories quietly settling among trunks, canopies, and shadows.

The paintings balance between realism and abstraction: some canvases depict a recognizable forest, while others suggest only trees and shafts of light. Metallic foil subtly reflects light, enhancing the poetic layering of the work. What at first appears to be a silent landscape gradually reveals itself as a world full of language and meaning.

The inspiration for this series comes from literature, poetry, and ancient tales in which the forest often symbolizes the unknown, the subconscious, or the magical. The texts are fragments of thoughts, sentences from books, or words without beginning or end—echoes of what has been said or still needs to be spoken.

Forest of Whispers invites quiet contemplation and wonder. These are paintings where you can lose yourself, reading with your eyes.
